Today we had to watch a movie about time travel and we had to talk about the props. I used this part because they were in a colourful backgrounds and the props. It is so nice to see the police call box
Today in Cybersmart we did real or fake photos. So we took a picture of ourselves and we used an app to delete the background. Then we put it in a different backgrounds, which was so much fun. Matua Peter told us to check people’s hands and fingers because often they can show whether the photo is a fake or is real.
Today, in Cybersmart we created a digital tapa cloth. We had to duplicate, rotate, and resize some of the shapes. Creating the black triangles was challenging.
Today, we learnt that Media is made or constructed. The creator can choose what they share. Room 6 are creators of Media, we can choose what we share on our blogs. We learnt how to download our Google draw as a JPG file.
Today we learnt about Media. Media is all around us. We use it everyday. Media can entertain, inform and persuade. In room 6 we mainly use media to entertain us. One skill we learnt was to embed a slide onto our blog.
Today I was buddies with Avery. So we had to do a doodle picture and make it look like something.`She saw a girl in my one and I saw a girl too. We had to write a poem about it. It was cool.
Today, we explored what were quality blog comments. We looked to see if they had a greeting, and something positive about what the author has shared. We also checked to see if they had a thoughtful and helpful comments too. Having a buddy also helps when we discuss what we are learning. One skill we used was moving the labels and flipping them too.
The Sauropod were extinct in NZ 77 million ago.They were tall that they could eat from tall trees. I had to add use polylines to make a skin around my dinosaur and then I dragged the labels to the right place on its body.
Today, we learnt to write positive and specific comment. We added a greeting and asked some questions.
IN RE this term we are talking about our whanau and that koru patterns and symbols can represent our whanau. My family is unique and special not just to me but to lots of people in New Zealand and back in the Philippines.
We made our family members in koru so I added
my mom and my dad /sister/me/my mom’s mother/
my mom’s father. We used wax crayons and then we
dyed the background.33
